In the eight years I have been teaching about human trafficking at the college level, I have found that visits from Gina Cavallo have had a profound impact on students. Ms Cavallo has a unique gift of being able to connect to undergraduate students of diverse backgrounds. each time she has visited a class, students are fully engaged when she shares her story. Her ability to help all of us begin to understand the crippling fear of being trafficked and its psychological repercussions has inspired all of us to become committed abolitionists.
