Gina is the founder and executive director of the survivor-led nonprofit organization, We RISE NJ, formerly Paying it Forward Foundation. Her commitment stems from her experience as a survivor of childhood sexual and physical abuse and of human trafficking. It is also rooted in her determination to ensure that no one else should endure the same trauma. Gina’s impact can be found throughout the New Jersey legislative process, within organizations that support human trafficking causes, and in the personal stories of the survivors who have been inspired by Gina’s story.
Your talk on Human Trafficking made our event very memorable and spread so much awareness to the members of Montclair State University. We believe the knowledge and experiences you shared were extremely eye opening and helped our campus community develop a better understanding of what Human Trafficking really is and the effect it has on the communities where we least expect it.
