Gina is the founder and executive director of the survivor-led nonprofit organization, We RISE NJ, formerly Paying it Forward Foundation. Her commitment stems from her experience as a survivor of childhood sexual and physical abuse and of human trafficking. It is also rooted in her determination to ensure that no one else should endure the same trauma. Gina’s impact can be found throughout the New Jersey legislative process, within organizations that support human trafficking causes, and in the personal stories of the survivors who have been inspired by Gina’s story.
We've had the opportunity to have Gina speak with our students on a number of occasions and in a variety of ways... Gina has been sensitive to the age and maturity of our students while still sharing with them critical information on the topic of Human Trafficking. She cares for their safety and wants them to understand the potential dangers that they face...
